Marquis Taylor has devoted a great deal of his professional experience to the field higher education where he’s worked in a variety of functional areas including academic advising, student retention, multicultural affairs, student athletics, and program development and coordination.
As a first-generation college graduate, Marquis has utilized his lived experience as a platform to discuss the unique transition individuals face when integrating into their field of profession.
In addition to education, Marquis has also served as a contributing writer for publications such as the Michigan Chronicle, FrontPage, and most recently, the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder where he highlights local businesses and covers national artists.
